Join us for a weekend of wood stacking, hiking, camping, and fun! Pets will be allowed, as long as they are people and pet friendly. The weekend starts Friday night sitting around a campfire listening to stories, bring your own food and beverage of choice. Saturday morning will start with coffee and donuts provided by NEKGMC, then wood stacking, a lunch break (BYOF), and an afternoon hike. Saturday night, another campfire and shared tales. Sunday will either be wood stacking or hiking, with the day converting to our NEKGMC Quarterly Meeting beginning at 1PM. Camping choices will be Hadsel Mares Camp and Jean Haigh Cabin; these are primitive cabins with no electricity or running water. We will have wood stove fires at both cabins during the night. Please be prepared with everything you need for primitive camping, including food, water, and lighting. There is an outhouse between cabins. Please RSVP gmcnek@gmail.com if you plan to attend.

Join us as we wrap up Woodstacking Weekend at Wheeler Pond, with early morning wood stacking, followed by lunch, then our quarterly meeting begins at 1PM. If wood stacking is finished we will do a short hike. Contact gmcnek@gmail.com for details.
